AIM

To promote and advance the adoption of Digital Education and Skills across all levels of society, from individuals to businesses and institutions. This includes providing access to high-quality digital resources, training and support to enable individuals and organisations to develop the skills they need to succeed in the digital age.

VISION

Our vision is to transform into a society where everyone has access to the Digital Education and Life sustaining skills required to thrive in the 21st century. This includes promoting digital literacy and fluency, supporting the development of digital skills in the workforce, and providing access to innovative digital resources and tools to enhance learning and creativity.

Through collaboration and partnership with stakeholders across all sectors, we aim to ensure that the benefits of digital technology are accessible to all, enabling individuals and organisations to realise their full potential and contribute to a more equitable, prosperous, and sustainable future.
Digital Education and Skills Council is committed to contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 on quality education, SDG 8 on decent work and economic growth, and SDG 9 on industry, innovation and infrastructure along with Skill development under balance SDGs.

Self-Reliance and Sustainability by

–Supporting the development of digital skills in the workforce, particularly in industries that have been disrupted by digital transformation, to ensure that individuals have the skills they need to thrive in the changing world of work. Be an integral part of Skilled and Digital India Mission and achieve the national aim.

–Promoting the use of innovative digital technologies and tools to enhance learning and creativity, particularly in areas such as science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education, to build a skilled and innovative workforce for the future.

–Encouraging the development and adoption of sustainable digital infrastructure, such as renewable energy-powered data centre’s and sustainable manufacturing practices for digital devices, to reduce the environmental impact of the digital economy.

–By working towards these goals, we believe that DESC, its members and affiliates can contribute to the achievement of the SDGs and promote self-reliance and sustainability for individuals, businesses, and communities around the Globe.

–Providing access to digital education and skills training to all individuals, particularly those in marginalised/ deprived communities, to enable them to develop the skills they need to participate in the digital economy and contribute to sustainable development.
