Wednesday, 24 May 2023.  Lt Gen SK Gadeock, AVSM, Patron and National President of DESC, visited Rashtrapati Bhawan and presented his book “War to Peace” to the Hon’ble President Smt Droupadi Murmu ji. The book and the efforts were praised and the President termed it as a masterpiece for ex-servicemen to benefit exponentially with GOI legislation empowering them to be assigned special posts in Ministries, Projects, Villages, Remote area & Wastelands management, Coastal n Sagarmala projects, J&K n Leh & Ladakh, Northeast n Hill areas Management. She will be writing to Governors, Secy KSB, to take action n initiate processes in perspective. A very fruitful meeting indeed with lots of takeaways for Ex-Servicemen community and indications of a progressive system for their Welfare and Employment.
