Digital Education and Skill development of all ages : DESC Initiative
- Digital literacy and coding skills for rural youth: DESC has and is partnering with several Educational and Social Institutions organisation to inculcate digital literacy and coding programs for young people in rural areas. Interactive and AI tools are utilised to achieve the desired efficiency and also focused on developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Online learning platform : DESC has integrated a LMS system that is being adopted by several schools across the country. The platform provides students with access to high-quality digital content and interactive learning tools, to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Skills development training for teachers : Aimed at carrying out mentorship and training to teachers on Modern day techniques, Psychology and much needed Sustainability Skills to adapt to the present day requirements in the Education System. Digital entrepreneurship program for high school students: The Digital Education and Skills Council partnered with a local high school to launch a digital entrepreneurship program for students. The program focused on teaching students how to develop and market digital products and services, and also provided them with mentorship and networking opportunities. Several students went on to launch successful digital businesses as a result of the program.
- Mentorship and training for underprivileged youth : The program focuses on Mentorship through a series of webinars on Public speaking, Health and Sustainability skills, Digital Marketing, Cyber Psychology and other technical Skills required to empower them for a self-sustainable livelihood.
