Dr. Poonam Ahluwalia is a Senior Municipal Engineer working with Urban, Disaster Risk Management, Resilience and Land unit of the World Bank Group. - She has a doctorate degree from IIT Delhi and more than 25 years of experience in project management, design, research, and techno-economic evaluation of systems in Water, Wastewater, Drainage, Green infrastructure and Solid Waste sectors. - She holds the PMP certification from Project Management Institute (USA) and the Accredited Professional certification from Indian Green Building Council. - She has more than 80 publications in various international and national forums and a book on “Water and Wastewater Systems” to her credit. - She is currently leading/ co-leading and serving as a technical resource on various infrastructure projects at the World Bank.
