DIGITAL EDUCATION AND SKILLS COUNCIL (DESC) AND OPENING MASTER JOIN HANDS TO FOSTER DIGITAL EDUCATION AND RESEARCH THROUGH CHESS

New Delhi / Bratislava – Global Non-Profit foundation, Digital Education and Skills Council (DESC), and Opening Master, a leading Digital Chess Education Coaching and biggest chess databases provider, announced today that they are entering into a partnership to advance Digital Education and research through chess.

DESC and Opening Master share common goals and objectives with regards to society upliftment, education and skill development, research and innovation, human rights, technology implementation and advancement, and equal business opportunities. Both the organisations are committed to contributing towards the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and objectives of the United Nations within their respective mandates and governing rules and regulations.

The partnership will focus on leveraging the unique qualities of chess as an educational tool to foster critical thinking, problem solving, and creativity among students, teachers, and researchers. Chess has been recognized as a game that can help improve cognitive abilities, memory, and concentration. Through this collaboration, DESC and Opening Master aim to make chess more accessible to people around the world, especially in developing countries.

The partnership will involve a range of activities, including the development of Digital Chess Education coaching programs, the creation of an online platform for chess education and research, and the provision of access to the biggest chess databases to researchers and educators. These activities will be designed to promote digital education and research through chess, and to support the efforts of DESC and Opening Master to contribute towards the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
